Tancho Beni Kumonryu 35cm Nisai, Takahashi

A Tancho Beni Kumonryu is a rare, scaleless (Doitsu) koi featuring a white body, red accents, and a distinct, isolated red spot on its head (Tancho). Often described as a "living artwork," this variety is famous for its unstable, ever-changing sumi (black) pattern, which can turn from white/red to nearly all-black depending on water temperature and pH.

This Tancho Beni Kumonryu was hand selected in January 2026 and has been quarantined in Berkshire since February,
