Ochiba Koi short for Ochiba Shigure, are a unique and highly prized variety of Japanese koi known for their serene, natural beauty. Their name poetically translates to "autumn leaves on water". Ochiba are recognized by a distinct colour combination that mimics the look of fallen leaves floating on a pond.
- Coloration: They feature a silver-gray or blue-gray base (inherited from the Soragoi) with bronze, brown, or copper patterns (inherited from the Chagoi).
This Ochiba was hand selected in January 2026 and has been quarantined in Berkshire since February,
