Mukashi Ogon 52cm Nisai, Marusei

Mukashi Ogon are prized, single-colored metallic Koi known for their deep bronze-gold or "antique gold" sheen, first appearing around 1947.  These hardy, fast-growing fish are distinguished from bright yellow Yamabuki Ogon by their warmer, darker metallic tone and superior growth potential, frequently reaching large sizes.

This Mukashi Ogon was hand selected in January 2026 and has been quarantined in Berkshire since February,
