Kohaku is the most prized variety of ornamental Koi fish, characterized by a pure white body (shiroji) with distinct, vibrant red markings (hi). As a primary member of the Gosanke group (or "Big Three"), it is considered the "King of Koi" and is favored for its clean,, sharp-edged patterns.
