Doitsu Mukashi Kubuto/Ogon are a metallic, single-colored Nishikigoi (Hikari-muji) characterized by its "antique" or "ancient" (Mukashi) gold color and its scaleless (Doitsu) skin. Created through crosses involving Yamabuki Ogon, Chagoi, or Gin Kabuto, it is known for its high growth potential and rustic, often bronze-beige or turmeric-colored, metallic luster.
These Doitsu Kubuto/Mukashi Ogon were hand selected in January 2026 and have been quarantined in Berkshire since February,
